when all the swine flu scaremongering came about in the media i always invisioned it being an embarrasing disease
with the first few UK cases being so high profile I could see people in the street hurling insults like SUUUIIIIIII and other pig based jokes

I think its too wide spread for that now though

As long as you're not taking the p***, I think you should have a word with your doctor just to be sure.

Maybe his doctor would appreciate it more if he DID take a sample?

You'll be all right as long as you don't have underlying health problems which seems to bbe reported with every swine flu death.

If swine flu and bird flu don't get you, SARS will. But as we're all going bankrupt and the sewage-laden waves will be lapping round Oxy Road roundabout by next summer, who gives a fook? I'll have another pint and a bag of scratchings.

yes it does im afraid, doctor says ive got to stay indoors. wouldnt even give me tamiflu cos ive had symptoms for more than 2 days. sadx

Having the symptoms for two days before talking to the quack is classed as having underlying health problems. I think the official guidance is that if you've had the symptoms for over two days they just leave you to die quietly and then say that you had underlying health problems so others shouldn't worry.

Can I have your telly?

Having symptoms over a weekend guarantees you won't get to see a Doctor for at least 2 days.

Can I have your bike? I understand it's a good way to get fit.
