going to the blue dolphon on saturday as my grandad has taken to the life of the gypsy pikey and has a caravan their that he lives in over the summer. I was wanting to know what the best way to go from Hartlepool is either down the a19 down to thirsk and then the a170 or the a66 onto the a171

We live not far from Cambridge & the way we usually go & seems to be the least hassle (in fact normally a pleasant journey) is A1 / A1M, turn off at Dishforth then A168, A19, A689 to the kingdom of Hartlepool.

The road from Guisborough down to Whitby is an ok drive, depends on traffic as anywhere else but fairly scenic beyond Guisborough and you don't have to bother with Sutton bank.

I think there is a train direct from Huntingdon to Bletchley which is then about 30 minutes walk to the stadium.
We'll probably be driving but we're the other side of Cambridge (in Essex).

(Did I read that post correctly?)

From Hartlepool...A19... Parkway...Guisbrough..Whitby ...Scarborough ... then follow the signs for Filey as they actually are quicker. I go this way all the time.

Compo- the trains are a nightmare from Huntingdon and buses no better. Car will take you less than an hour.

What's more, there is no direct train connection that I've heard of from Huntingdon to Bletchley.

Huntingdon is on the other side of the country from Bletchley.
