Don't be expecting a Prague or an Amsterdam cos Valencia just ain't that sort of place. Its more of a Barcelona with more class. The restaurants riound the beaches are great if you like fish. Round the Copa puerto (Americas Cup Port) the nightlife and bars are bouncing and most turn into 4 or 5am bars. City nightlife, head for Barrio del Carmen and follow the crowds.

Daytime; Oceanographica is worth a look if you like looking at underwater fish. If theres 16 blokes going then the first paragraphs will probably have covered it!

Do yourself a favour and learn a few words before you go, you can only get so far with "cerverza por favor"

thank you Mr I
sounds a little more refined than the usual places to go for a stag weekend
so having not met 90% of the guys going as most of them live in the
Cheltenham area its not going to be like a bank holiday weekend down church street
(not that there is nothing wrong with that)

looks like its going to be Hot :coool: so plenty of that cerverza stuff

At first I thought this thread was about ManU's new signing. Probably the only player who hasn't gone to Real Madrid this season.

I think I'm now sufficiently fluent in spoken Spanish although I couldn't write down these essential phrases in proper spick spelling...

dos therbetha por fabor

donday estan los serbeethios

la kwenta por fabor

Learn those off by heart and you won't go far wrong.

Should have read the rest of the thread. :uhoh:

Here's a few more useful phrases:

Waiter, can I have a menu please. (Senor, te quiero mucho)
Where do I find nice girls. (Senora, tu estar muy grande y mucho olor)
Cheers (cabron)

"Two beers please" in Spanish is "two beers and what the fook's a Dutchman doing running a bar in Sitges??"
