Great. Now I'll be able to go down to the pub and get some peace.

It's getting a bit near eating my words time.

It had to be a jock who gets further than any other brit for bloody years.

He certainly did the business againt Ferrero Roche who I thought looked a little bit too much like Baldrick although he obviously didn't have a cunning plan.

Well done Andy Murrray

It's starting to get very serious from here on in.

I'd prefer to see what happens before making a decision on whether or not he can win it.

The main thing is it's thrilling drama for all of us.

once again this confirms pok literally has no opinion on anything in the entire world, i dunno if he's not smart enough or doesnt want to commit to anything.

All he will do if murray wins say it's amazing for a uk player to (insert achivement here) or if he loses say he played well, good game, unlucky blaw blaw blaw.

It's not a thrilling drama for me in fact I have never been involved in anyway shape or form in a 'thrilling drama' and don't intend to be.

I stand to be corrected but this sort of description is referred to as hyperbole and is therefore not to be trusted as it's the sort of exagertated language used in low life publications such as the Daily Star.

Does anyone else think they're involved in a thrilling drama.

No PoK it's not a thrilling drama for me and therefore you're inaccurate in saying it's a thrilling drama for us all.

Count me out of your thrilling drama scenario.

I would also like to put my name forward to be counted out of the 'thrilling drama POKism'.

I've given you my opinion.

It's just that if I said he will win this and loses on Friday, then how will that make me look?

Probably been mentioned before, but i still don't want him to win, due to his previous interviews when he wanted England to get beat. I know he has said he was mis-quoted etc, but i dont believe it, so fair enough he doesn't support England and i don't support him.

Match point in the final?

He'll have every chance by then, real cock on the block time.

It would indeed. I don't think I will fall asleep watching it, like I usually do if Premiershite football is on the box.

It's started.......everyone talking about how he's going to do in the final........a small matter of someone called Andy Roddick to deal with before then.

Personally I can't see it happening. Murray has already reached his objectives mentally.

He's just thinking he's lucky to get into the semi's whilst the proper players have the mind set that they'll run through brick walls to win.

Mind you I could be wrong.

But I don't think so

Rodick will give him a game, It'll certainly go to 5 sets again I reckon. But I do think he'll be in the final Vs Federrer on Sunday

I think if he beats Roddick in the semi-final tomorrow, Murray can certainly at least go all the way against Federer in the final...

...that is assuming Federer wins against the outside-chance German Tommy Haas. I wouldn't write off Haas knocking Federer out because Federer hasn't wowed me at the moment to say he deserves to win the whole thing.

Personally, if Murray manages to get to the final, I will be happy with that even if he loses to Federer/Haas on Sunday.

I think if Haas knocks Federer out and Murray manages to do the business tomorrow, Murray just needs to keep his composure and he will win the final.

murray has played roddick 8 times and beaten him in 6 of those matches.

as it happens he has also beaten federer the last 4 times he has played him.

but hey, dont let the facts worry you.

The important FACT, though, is that the dull Swiss kicked his arse the last time they met in a slam.

There's a lot of people assuming that Murray is going to get to play Federa and that Roddick is just a formality, y'know the good old British build em up and knock 'em down syndrome. It happens in all sports.

Chip quotes the form but he'll be the first to know that if the form book was a dead cert there'd be a lot of poor bookies and a lot of rich punters. Lo and behold quite the reverse is true.

I don't deny it's nice to hope but if you were looking for a certainty it wouldn't be Murray you'd bet your house on.

Andy Roddick is 11-4 to beat the Murray that is a massive price.
Roddick hit 43 aces against Hewitt and served a top speed serve of 140 mph.
