my car is in the garage again (corsa's dont get one) as the windscreen wipers gave up the ghost, I was hopeing of it just to be a fuse or something but oh no its the motor and going to cost me £200.

Your being ripped off. Go to a scray yard and get one off one from there, plenty of Corsas in them. Probabaly get oen for £30.

I used to get my Vauxhall spares from Luton scrapyards (via Exchange and Mart) for about 1/4 of the garage price. That was in the early 80s mind. :wink:

What year Corsa is it? If its between 93-2000 then go on Auto Trader, into parts section and there is loads for £25.

its an 03 corsa, rang about 10 breakers yards so far no luck, i am contemplating driving home on friday (hope it doesnt rain) and getting it fixed on sat, as I was coming home anyway

just found one on ebay for £40 quid told the gagrage to stick it for £200, going to risk driving back home on friday so my cousin can fit it for free.

You can buy some stuff that you spread on windscreen and it makes water just slide off without having to use wipers. Dunno if any good like.

Some friends of mine once had their wipers conk out on a rainy day.
They took their ties off, attached them to the driver's side blade, and worked it by hand by alternately pulling each tie. They got as wet as fook through the open windows mind.
