They've just put it on for the first time, it's takes 20 odd minutes for the air temperature to be normal then the players have to warm up for five minutes to aclimitise.

On all the other courts where they have simple covers it has stopped raining and they've resumed play rolfl rolfl rolfl

I fooking hate tennis by the way.

The players are sweating like pigs as well after that roof was closed - I bet all the hot air that was supposed to be taken away after the roof closed hasn't been circulated out.

Why should it be?

Squash players don't get fresh air pumped in, nor do table tennis players, nor do we on a wednesday night at 5-a-side.

Upper class fannies thats all they are!

Squash ...why? For years I've watched these knackered characters emerge from the appropriately named 'court' sweating like a car wash, wonky sweat band on head and bandages on both knees talking up their strokes between gasps. Nutters the lot of them.

What made me laugh was the link they found in the 80s that people who were more likely to have heart attacks used to often play squash.

I see Scotland's Andy Murray lost the first set, the Brit went on to win the next two, before the Scotsman lost the next one so it's 2-2 now.

I hope the Scottish twat loses, if he wins I of course wish Britain's Andy Murray all the best in the next round.

Oh and that roof probably wasn't a bad idea after all, they are still playing :uhoh:

This is probably the longest tennis match I've ever watched.

Used to maintain them, the walls, lights, floors etc...first time we had to plaster all the holes over we ordered a batch of special plaster from a place in Kent called 'Armourcoat'...looked at all the holes and thought I might as well mix the full tub up. Massive mistake, it dried in five minutes and went as hard as bell metal, almost as hard as POK's head, ... well it was from Kent.

What you know about heart attacks from the last thread can be written on the back of a stamp

I prefer badminton to be honest, at least I can hit the shuttle back and a tennis court seems so big to me.
