The best part of the blur gig was the last song they did.
The Universal? I think I like that one. The next best bit was them walking off the stage. Why weren't the Quo the last band on? They'd have rocked all over the world......... twice

Blur were the best band on show all weekend.

Awesome.

Madness were also brilliant.

I liked Bat for Lashes a lot. Never heard of them before. What a gorgeous voice she has.

I really enjoyed Blur and Prodigy, shame the BBC's coverage involved cuting back to people chatting shíte and talking about what people are wearing rather than the music.

I had to drop off a walkie talkie at the viewing platform while Madness were on so while I was there I rang Mutley & let them play to his voicemail. That 2 minutes was the only 2 minutes I saw on the Pyramid stage too.

Madness were superb, as were Blur and The Specials. The atmosphere for all 3 was brilliant.

One thing that does stand out for me is the difference between watching it on the telly and actually being there. It never translates as well. Like all gigs, I think atmosphere makes the difference and you don't get the full effect whilst sat at home.

Spinal Tap pissed on the Quo too!
