Well the most glaring one is that we definitely do not have average gates of 6,000 - try halving it and you would be somewhere near. Also "we are on a peninsular and surrounded on three sides by the sea" sctatchinghead

Also "everybody in the town is predominantly a Hartlepool fan" ? I wish they were Russ...

Yep, apart from which only the Headland has any kind of history in the fishing industry.
And I can't believe I made an error of 5500 when I counted the Poolies at Cardiff. sctatchinghead

no he has been a bit optimisitc like his quote about our attendances being over 6000 when in fact every day on sky sports news its has our average attendance as the second lowest in our division after cheltenham, which makes him look a little stupid

Don't get me wrong, I like Russ Green, but....that play-off final error date really is an inexcusable mistake from the man who is supposed to be our Chief Executive.

My recollection is that we sold at least 17,500 tickets for Cardiff 2005.

Maybe it was a typo and he did say 2005 but the writer of the article got it wrong.

In this current economic climate he may not be able to afford good writing utensils.
