I can't believe they revealed the stig to be schumacher, i liked the fact he was a mystery.

Well i only seen a clip on bbc3 saying the stig is schumacher, so presumed that the stig was schumacher.

Anyone who watched the whole sequence would have already seen from his body outline and posture that it wasn't the usual Stig.
And even if they didn't notice, well, Schumacher popping across to Guildford once a week to teach celebs how to drive a lap - at BBC rates?? stpid

Aother point, even though I find them amusing, how long are they going to carry on with these socalled races where thet can travel all these distances and arrive within seconds of each other.... utter bollocks, but entertaining.

I've never regarded it as anything else but pure entertainment. The cars are just a pretext.

Top Gear Is the best show on the Telly, and you answered you own quaestion as long as these socalled races are entertaining so they are ok for about another 5 series.

It also brings in alot of viewing fidures to BBC2 and they export it out all over the world I am sure top gear was on the tv's on the MTR when I was in Hong Kong.

Never used to like it, always used to think, not into cars, i won't like it, but as snowy says it's more about the entertainment than it is the cars these days, i love the races to random places and the banter between them all is funny.

I know I am being a bit of an anorak here but havent top gear prevented cars from being on the power lap time boards if they cant get over speedbumps and that car looks to have the ground clearence of an ants belly.

Apart from which at the beginning they said you weren't allowed to take it off the Ferrari site, even after you'd bought it for a million squids, which really does seem like they're bending their "you have to be able to buy one" rule to breaking point.

But there again, the programme isn't really about cars is it. :wink:

I very much doubt Schumacher is the Stig. He was there driving the Ferrari round the track dressed as The Stig - Granted but thats probably because he knows how the car drives.

That Ferrari looked like an Le Mans car to me and like you guys say, It doesnt look road bound, Imagine driving from here to Bristol in that :shock:

or over the Speed Bumps near Kingsley school

My all time favourite was when they crossed the channel, pure fun, the whole show shouid be full of that stuff. But the celebs and the uber cars are just tedious... and in all honesty, anyone who gets 'aroused' by some unaffordable dream car doing 0 to 60 in whatever seconds, has serious mental health issues.
