I have a Plec about 7-10inches long which is getting a bit big for my tank which is a shame as he is amusing to watch sometimes. Free to a good home if you want to come and get him?

One time we had been away on holiday and when we got back the thermostat or summat had knackered and all the fish died ended up bloated to about five times their size

the niece when she was younger won a goldfish from the carnival,so after about a week it snuffed it so for a few days the brother in law gave the water abit of a stir with his finger so it looked like it was swimming about,well after a while it started to smell so he decided to tell her it was dead she turns round without batting an eyelid and says great can we flush it down the bog :laugh:

fish are the worlds most pointless pet, if you dont have a pond outside, why bother having them in the house they are good entertainment for about 5 mintues, the tropical ones cost a fortune and the money would be better spent on a dog or another pet that actually does something

On the upside, tropical fish don't rip the cushions up. Topical fish go on ciao to find cushions at the best price.

Who mentioned fish as a pet? only a numpty would even suggest you could have them as a pet surely? :laugh:

and tropical fish are not expensive at all, (although i suppose you could get expensive ones)

I was only saying to my Clown loaches this morning how people misunderstand fish
