Who suggested it was 'dead?'

Stockport are in a state of upheaval and CT has been on holiday all week.

there were a lot of suggestions on here that as Stockport are being took over then they would cancel the deal. Whereas i think thats what the Administrators were waiting for sctatchinghead

If he wants to come here how can they cancel the deal? Even if they are taken over they still have to come out of admin that just doesn't happen automatically.

I think people just panic if we don't sign four players a day, pre season training doesn't even start for 11 days, plenty of time I'm confident the gaps in the squad will be filled.

because he's under contract, if he played a certain amount of games last season it triggered another year, we agreed with the administrators to waive the year deal, but i believe it all depends on what the people taking over say, i could be completely wrong like

He's WAS under contract before they went into administration. Even if they are taken over they will still be in admin until they have a creditors meeting and the creditors are 'happy'. Due to them being in administration he probably hasn't been getting paid which means the previous contract is not really worth the paper it's written on because it's been breached.

If he wants to come their is very little Stockport can do take over or no take over.

Wouldn't worry too much about his shortage of games. As I understand it, it's not down to injury, or at least it wasn't last season. I know it sounds like extravagance to us, but I believe Stockport had TWO left backs last season ( ) and the other one had a great season and kept Rose out of the team for quite a while.
TWO LEFT BACKS!!!........ that sounds like a novel concept.

If the other one was keeping him out, why aren't we signing him ?
