I cannot download any Windows updates automatically or manually, i cannot log into MSN Messenger, and i cannot update my anti-virus stuffs.
I have tried all the solutions on the Microsoft site, used Malwarebytes and other anti virus' to no avail, I can browse the internet though with is very odd, surely it shouldnt work as the internet is being blocked by something when trying to download the updates....??

What version of windows ?? Is it genuine ? Does it give you a specific error when the updates fail if so please post

I had problems with updates too, I submitted the issues to Microsoft and they eventually solved it for me, The list of stuff to do to fix it was endless but got there eventually!

Although the MSN stuff is dodgy, See if you've got the latest MSN Messenger installed etc... Or you could try a "Repair" on the Application if your running XP

Aye, its a proper version of Windows and its on Vista :(

I've tried the 'repair' that the programme offers but to no avail, something about the 'key ports' and it tries to repair it but never does....
