That street is like a Ghetto and I remember when I was a kid walking through Baden Street at least once a week going to me Nana's with me Mam and it was a lovely street....like all the other streets off the Burn Valley....as was the streets off Cornwall Street aswell!!!! confised

It's the landlords, they don't give a toss who lives in them as long as rent gets paid of the nash...... once one moves in, it's like a domino effect and as the normal people flee to the hills, the doorstep sitting, lager swilling, 'music' playing rarfs from hell move in along with their eight year old dummy sucking baby chavs ...... everyone can see the problem, but the people who have the power to change it live in neat and tidy communities with their rose tinted, idealistic consiences.

my family on my dad side used to live in mayfair street, gordon street etc when they were young, my dad used to say the back streets were spotless and people used to scrub their step everyday and that area had a real sence of community spirit and pride. That shows its not the area but the people who lives in them
