Football is by far the most popular Spectator/Participated Sport in the World....but in what countries isn't it the most popular???? sctatchinghead

USA....American Football!!!! confised

Canada....Ice-Hockey!!!! confised

Cuba....I would think it's Baseball!!!! confised

It's cricket for the Aussies, Aussie Rules is almost exclusively a Melbourne sport it's only fairly recent that teams have been franchised out into the other cities. It is massive in Melbourne like nearly every club has large support given it's not that huge a city.

Nah, China is basketball and to a lesser degree, volleyball. There is footy but only in about 12 cities and even then they're cack at it. Lots of the young 'uns watch the 'big four' when they're on telly but they don't have any ambition to play the game. sadx

In India they realise that cricket is so popular to the detrement of other sports, that the cricketing authorities actually donate money to help support other sports.

Can you imagine the greedy ef'in bar stewards at the premiershit financially helping other sports let alone league clubs etc. Pompous gets. banghead
