A week ago Turner said we would have 3 new signings in by today? Where are the other 2?

he said 2 people had agreed terms. Dimi probably one of them but looks like coventry have changed their mind and the other is supposedly rose from stockport, not sure on the delay there

There can be all kinds of delays, agents mucking about, terms not fully agreed, players still on holiday.

Gone are the days when a transfer can be agreed quickly, even at this level it's a fanny on.

this is also the other side of the coin. People call pools for being too secretive, so they mention that they expect 3 signings and when 2 of them dont happen or are delayed then people are disappointed! Its a no-win situation.

well we expected 3 signings like he said , not 1

The new signings may be trapped in the bookies at throston. There are so many of them in there that maybe they cant get out

Most players actually only become available from today, so even if Pools' had spoken to them, unless agreement reached between the other club, then really we can't sign any of them till today.

We bought Boyd and agreed with Stockport for McSweeney, the other's may well be in discussion now, and there parent club may well have offered them future terms.

As some say we stay secret, people complain, we say what's in the pipeline , people complain, a lose lose situation in some cases.

We have generated more interest with the 2 signings and talk of more so far this close season than the whole of last season.

so is this the same with our players who have yet to sign their proposed contracts with pools, maybe Turner is seeing who won sign before acting with further player, which would be a smart move.
