I haven't used this for a while....I've seen other people with this problem but I never thought I'd get it.

My msn messenger is sending out unwanted messages such as:

"Are you finally ready to lose some weight with no effort, well I am living proof that those acai berry pills everyone is talking about actually work, I lost 22 pounds in two weeks and it only cost me five dollars over at LINK"

I've never downloaded anything dodgy. No porn, no programs, no music, nothing. This computer has never had anything dodgy from it.
I haven't been on any dodgy sites.

Spybot Search and Destroy finds a few tracking cookies which I've got rid off, can it be that?
AVG finds nothing.
I do these scans at least one a week.

I also did a Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scan which found nothing.

I've never given my password to anybody.

People have sent me similiar messages but I've NEVER clicked on the links, not once. I am clever enough to ignore them.

I've changed my password.

So how did I get it? sctatchinghead And will changing my password be enough to stop my account from sending these messages?

Any help is much appreciated....thanks.

And Spybot gives me a "congratulations, no immediate threats were found message" so those 4 tracking cookies have gone.
