Just had a phone call off a mate who's a Man.U season ticket holder....and surprise surprise....he's from Manchester!!!! :shock:

Anyway....Ron-Robert Zieler is a young German Goalkeeper and is 99% going to sign for Pools on a season long loan!!!! :coool:

It's only 99% at the moment because he broke his arm earlier in the year and that is getting assesed this week....but apparently the break has healed 100%!!!! :coool:

Sounds like it could be a goodun'....even though I'm not too fussed on Season Long Loans after Antwi....and makes the stories about Dimi not coming back seem true!!!! confised

He spent 3 month on loan at Northampton from November, on the bench apart fron the last two matches, this being the second one. Not a lot of mention of him in the write up.

It shows if correct Turner has identified a possible number of targets, being on Man u books , you would expect him to be decent and fact he played in every game of the german's U19, Championships seems to back that up. And a gold medallist in that team. Even if only as a good back up for the season, I wouldn't be to upset and if good enough then old enough.
