Now im not one to start a rumour off but i boarded a flight last night from Amsterdam to Teeside and Steve Mclaren was on it

I never thought anything about untill we go out of the terminal and he asked a taxi driver to take him to the Staincliff Hotel via the cash machine at throston shops !

Could he be our new manager :-o

that would be a step down, he's just got his team into the champions league, why go to sunderland?

he's a good club manager, just out of his depth with england.

The mackems at work are petrified its the truth.
Mind you, they're petrified about everthing these days.
Come to think of it, so are the mags
I dont work with any smoggies
The one with the biggest grin is the one that's followed Durham City up and down the country this season. He's well happy.

Have Durham done especially well? I had a look at their site but it tells you bugger all.

Edit: ah, old site - the new one spills the beans. W25 L3

Aye, Durham won the league. Uneatable for much of the season, summat like eight points with two games in hand, or two points ahead with eight games in hand. Then slowly they started to lose points while the other team won every match. It came down to the last match with Durham second in the league. The other team drew and they won and I'm told their fifty away fans went beserk and on a huge bender...
