Want me to rough him up?

Get your army of kids to sort him out, you grow new ones every week.

Telephonist working for Durham Police.

In the Mail tonight he has won a competition to be the first person with a new Toon shirt.
How is that Hartlepool, or even East Durham news?

He did have a season ticket for the mugs if I remember rightly - so has he queued up somewhere to get one? Sad as Fukk if he has - the bloke must be at least 30 now....

I've known Tippy since I was 11, and we used to knock about together a lot until he got married. I last saw him at a Pools match earlier this (last?) season.

In his defence, his mam is a genuine geordie and he was born in Newcastle. He's been going to St James' Park with his dad since he was very young, and even used to go in the pre-Keegan days when they scraped 10,000 at the bottom of the second tier. He has always supported Pools as well as the barcodes, I think he had a season ticket at the Vic this year.

In other words, he's not a typical plastic mag.

There's loads of 2nd and 3rd generation Poolie exiles who we wouldn't dare slag off, and I've always tolerated Tippy's support of the barcodes because of his family connection.

He isn't a typical armchair mag, and I think he had a season ticket for at least 15 consecutive seasons (including when they were shite) and used to go to away games as well.

That's a bit sad.
Besides, would kids choose to support Newcastle these days anyway given the state they are in?

It's still not Hartlepool news though is it. Down here the local rag has Scunny on its front page in big headlines at least once every couple of weeks and never a mention of ... er ... there aren't any top flight teams in the area. :uhoh:
