I took a Hat Trick last night!!

I know this seems proper boastful and that, but I'm still so excited I thunk I'd share it with you's! :uhoh:

Anyways last night in the Cleveland league cup, we [bottom of Div E :uhoh:

] were playing a div B sie and I gets me chance to bowl.
First 2 overs steady and unspectacular - had one drop...
3rd over dot,1,dot then I bowls this chap out, next ball leggy caught at short leg!
hat trick ball......I decided to bowl it full and straight and a bit quicker - big heave middle stump out!!!

couldn't believe it!!!!

in the 4th over I got 2 more - 5 wickets in 9 balls! - the 5th being a great stumping by our wickie off another leg break that they just weren't picking!

5-13 off 4 overs!
easily my best sporting achievement!

so whats your best sporting achievements?!

i scored a goal in the first 11 secs of a sunday league game before. Just chased the ball from kickoff the defender booted it off me and was rolling slowly back to the keeper. As the keeper put his hands on it i kicked it into the back of the net... A blatant foul as he clearly had both hands on it but the ref allowed it for some reason.... He got a yellow card for his rant and i was a hero.....

I once took 7-35 in a cup final and won the NYSD Premier Division bowling award in 1998. But I never got a hat-trick so well done Salty! :evil:
