Went on loan at end of last season
Now been released on his return to Oldham

well I am sorry but then your a fool, granted I dont like the bloke and diserved his jail term but I would rip anyones hands off for a bloke to secore 20+ goals in a season

If it makes me a fool then so be it. Not many things would make me want to stop following Pools but he is one of them. Horrible, horrible man.

For those that see him as a 25/30 goal a season striker ask yourself this.
If he was capable of that why are Oldham letting him go for nowt.
And for the record I would be embarresed if he was playing for us.

I have to say no one "sees" him as a 25/30 goal a season striker he just is "Hughes had scored 25 goals in 51 starts for the Latics but ended the season on loan at Championship side Blackpool."
