chris turner said he would be interested but his wages make it nigh on impossible. Says we are looking for another striker though.

Didn't think he'd be on that much, was only at Blackpool!

Not a surprise - seem to remember comments when he first arrived that we only had him on loan, and were not looking to sign him permanently.

Unless Turner is prepared to take a cut in his biscuit allowance...

What's the average wage for League One or for just the Club itself ? Does anybody know ?

no idea, would guess at around 1800 a week average. Maybe slightly more.

as i said it was a guess. Going off what mad john said then it might be more accurate to say around 3500-4000. Apparently boyd was on 4000 at orient though so not sure.

He still has another year of his contract at Blackpool to run, it's a sad fact that there is no way Pools can compete with any team in the Championship in terms of wages but the difference in the amount of TV money is massive. Just look at the money awarded to each club because Birmingham has returned to the Premier league , Championship sides got something like 500,000, L1 50,000 and L2 30,000.

Danny Graham is out of contract at Carlisle and is considering an offer from them at the minute - I don't think he would be a bad bet if we could afford his wages. I know he opted for them instead of us before but maybe after this season he could be convinced to have a little think?

If he is willing to sign id happily have him at the club. Could be a good partner for Boyd.

Also heard today that Dean Brill is about to sign....not sure how much truth in that one.

Is he as good as his name suggests?

I remember him having a good game against us a few years ago. Was touted to go on and be great. Obv never quite worked out for him.

Danny Graham?

I HOPE we take a chance on Runie Lange. And he will be twice the player Danny Grahm is.

For the record, anyone care to find out how many games it is since Graham scored?

I heard it was 14, could be wrong like.
