Mr Harold Hornsey.
Looking at what the 2 Georges have done to Darlo you have to be thankful that we were lucky enough to have someone like Harold Hornsey step in when he did & ensure not only the survival of Pools,but put us into safe hands for the long term future when he stepped down.

He certainly did. If it wasn't for Harold i'm sure we'd have ended up in the conference in double quick time.

The next time a stand is built at the Vic it can only be named after one person

Ritchie Humphreys, no seriously the Vic requires the Harold Hornsey stand.

the only stand that would probably get re-named would be the ring end, due to sponsorship rights on the Camerons Brewery Stand (Mill House). Is the town end still sponsored by EXPAMET? If not that one as i would not want a legend to be sat on by shi t away fans every other week.

The other option is to name one of the bars after the great man himself. or even rename the centenary lounge now that the 100 year anniversary has passed, and get shearer out
