Poolie 95 is a 14 year old lad living in Billingham, despite being stuck in a town where everyone else either supports Borer or a premiershit glory team he has been a regular at Pools for the last 7 or so seasons & is now a season ticket holder.
He has joined the Bunker because he loves football & thought this was a good place to come & talk to other Poolies about Pools.
This morning I got up to find a message from Poolie 95 aasking what he had done wrong & why people were having a go at him.
Ive had a look again at the lads posts & there was no need at all to jump on him.His first post was a perfectly reasonable post yet the response he gets is grief over a spelling mistake.

Here is the post
Quote:
he keeps on saying how hes got plenty of targets planed but hes not even hear full time yet is he? him talking like this makes me think he already knows hes got the job . and who do you think these targets are???

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with that post ?As far as im concerned one spelling mistake is no problem at all.

Quote:
Because we've all known for weeks he's got the job ... and he writes in semi textese.

We dont know at all that Turner has got the job & the lad is not writing anywhere near 'textese'.
Snowy, have another look at the first page of the thread, there was no need at all for the grief you gave him,it was over the top.Fair enough, you werent to know that hes only 14,but thats still no reason to jump on a new member like that.

Those of you that stuck up for the lad - Cheers.

POOLIE 95 - Welcome to the board mate, join in & enjoy yerself.

welcome to the board
id think its pretty likely turners gonna get the job now, maybe thats a good thing maybe not, i wouldnt be too dissapointed if turner got the job, hes not the best manager in the world but hes nowhere near the worst. he has to look ahead and plan as if hes going to be here full time theres not alot of point him waiting til the first week in august before he gets the job then thinking shit ive only got a squad of 10 players i better do something. even if theres a new manager he will still have some invovlement in who we sign if he goes back upstairs so it makes no difference to him i think? sctatchinghead

anyway welcome to the baord dont take any abuse you get too seriously its just a website at the end of the day tell em all to welcome to the board

'jump on him' ....? are you serious ? We have a board where some really nasty insults are flung about wiily nilly and you highlight what I wrote as offensive? sctatchinghead ......... Pok is tortured in a really nasty way by certain posters on here and a blind eye is conveniently turned. I make a nothing comment in comparison and I'm pulled up for it... hands to station for leaving harbour.

He keeps on saying how he has got plenty of targets planned but he is not even here full time yet is he? Him talking like this makes me think he already knows hes got the job. Who do you think these targets are?

Hardly only "one spelling mistake"

Only joshing. Welcome to the board. At 14 you already know more about football than half the lot on here.

welcome to the board kid, first thing you need to learn is that everyone rips anyone for anything. Learn to give some back, dont let them gang up on you, and slag off tree and grave whenever you have the opportunity.....stick to that and you will be fine!

Welcome to the Asylum Poolie 95.

And yes there are a lot of us Poolies in Billingham, not just the ones I've produced or married.
