You'd think by now we'd actually be able to field a keeper who played for us in the League.

Paul O' Connor.

I bet he'd be a mint keeper in goals of that size!

Not sure Elvis but every other club seems to manage it, and some of the keepers that play in the Masters for other teams have played for Pools. Mark Prudhoe is playing for Sunderland this year. Why not have him play for us (he did actually play more first team games for us than them and is a former GK coach for us)? I am sure Sunderland could probably get another keeper easier than we seem to be able to.

Jim Provett will be too young, I think that the players have to be at least 35 years old to play or at least be 35 this calender year

Thats another stipluation.

Horne is playing for Millwall. Hollund lives in Nogland. Dibble is still signed to a club. Miotto is in Aus. Cox is 903 stone. Poole is still signed to a club. Provetts too young.

Is Roy Tunks still alive?? sctatchinghead

It doesn't matter if players are still signed to clubs, Windass has played for the last 4/5 years while being signed to a club.

Think I'll have a run along to that. We'll have to try and arrange a minibus there and back to keep the cost down if anyone is interested. Or even train there, few beers and then bus back.

How old was he when he played for us then? I thought he was about late 20's!

Get your mate Parmo along and that's the bus half filled. Only need about a dozen to make it economical.

I personally think Scarborough should be allowed a team over Darlo though

Hmmm, I have his birthday as 11th August 1975, so his debut will have been aged 22 and his last game was just after his 26th birthday. I've just checked with allfootballers.com and they have his birthdate as 11th August 1974, making him 34 now (and therefore eligible for the Masters!).

Not sure who is right, but I suspect it's probably not me

Edit: updated ITMC db now. Congratulations (or apologies) Martin, you are now 34

Martin was born in 1974.....

His birthdate is 20/9/77 so he's 32 in September.

What about Kevin Poole or is he playing for someone else?

I am sure officer Dibble is GK coach at one of the teams we played this season.Seem to remember reading it in one of the progs.

Get Kenny Simpkins playing! If he's lost his touch we can always shift him to centre forward.

Taffy used to terrorise the bairn at matches. She was only around 12 when he was playing and she used to hate the way he would wander to the half-way line during a match, thinking he wouldn't get back in time if someone suddenly made a break.
