Also does anyone know (possibly people older than me who have seen it happen) what would happen to the league fixtures and points awarded if Darlo go out of buisness, would the other teams get a form of a bye were they have the week off and just get zero points.

The decision on darlo whether than can go into the league must be made before the season starts surely as if people have already played them in forthcoming season won/drawn/lost then how with the FA decide on points for the teams still to play darlo, or would the just remove points gained from the Vs Darlo results.

So the points stand then, as they've fulfilled all their fixtures?

Dunno, but wouldn't it be nice if they let an extra team come up rathe rthan save the bacon of some outfit down the bottom who'd 'earned' relegation. Reward the achiever rather than the failure on a technicality so to speak.

Im with you on that point, but Im sure I heard it mentioned on the radio that if Darlo do go bust then Chester will get a reprieve.

I don't want to see Darlo go under. I'd happily laugh them into the conference but they're practically the same as us, aside from very poor leadership from two or three chairmen and the stupidest stadium I've seen in my life.
