Does anyone know when it is announced? Is it defintley tomorrow? I know I'm repeating the question. I'll be on high alert if it is tomoz. :grin:

This is the link to last year's announcement so all the players that had the option exercised will be out of contract (excluding James Brown) plus those that have come to the end of the contract before the Pools option including ALB, Butz, McCunnie. Not sure about contract length for the others

These were the players that options were taken on the contracts at the end of last season, presumably 1 year options?

Joel is off, James Brown signed an extension last season as I recall, and wasn't Martin Young released last week? Leaving this lot out of contract after the options have expired.

These are the remainder of the squad, a significant proportion of which will be at the end of 2 year deals, not sure about the young players who came up from the youths, don't they get YTS deals? Foley may have gone anyway.

So making a lot of assumptions it looks like most of the squad could be out of contract, we could be be in very interesting times re retained/offered new contract list.

do you seriously see the club getting rid of all these players when we have no replacements....we have a small squad as it is so i doubt we will get rid of 9/10 players if we dont have replacements.....i reckon u will be surprised that some of the back up players will be kept on to make sure we have a team at start of the new season

I seriously listed who I thought was out of contract, probably wrong about a few too but there are some who will be let go, some who won't want to resign so I reckon we could see that many go.

I mean it's not like they have played out of their skins regularly is it?

Im quite excited about the coming week and seeing the retained list. We have needed a good clear out for ages. I can see myself logging onto here quite a bit when im at work this week!
