I cannot believe that this fight is not going to be beamed back live from the US. I fell sorry for Froch as he has the balls to fight a great fighter in his backyard and is getting no support from the TV networks. It make me wonder if Froch wouldv'e been from London rather than Nottingham if this crazy and borderline disrespectful decision wouldv'e been the same. One thing is for sure, this will be an explosive fight. Probably one of the best fights this year.

Good luck to Froch, he doesn't deserve this kind of shoddy treatment. He could've taken a piss easy fight on his own soil, but stood up to the challenge and was a man.

Yeah, it's a disgrace to Froch and British boxing fans. Agree with you on the Harrison and Khan bit. Tell you what, there a very few boxers who would put their belt never mind there first defence on the line as Froch has done. I really respect the lad for that.

I've got to admit to having never heard of him, until the mentions on here. Which, I suspect is the reason for the lack of beam back from the good old US of A. He just hasn't been hyped up by the media first.

He wanted a fight against Joe Calzaghe - and would probably beat Calzaghe as well. The lad Froch has a hell of a lot of bottle and can certainly take a bat......

Well it has been put this way EAD.

If there was a football match on one corner, a rugby match on another, a cricket match on the other corner, and a fight broke out on the last corner, which one would attract the most attention?

Cricket match for me. Then football. Then I'd go home.

I doubt he would beat Calzaghe. He hasn't really beaten anyone of note yet. He will get found out big style tonight.

If Taylor comes to fight then we're in for a good fight & Froch has the edge.If Taylor just boxes & avoids getting involved I doubt Froch has the technical skill to outpoint him.
Overall I think Froch will win.

Yes he won, but he was far from impressive. If Taylor had went for him a bit more after the knockdown, he would have finished him. Taylor had the better of him until he tired.

Calzaghe 5 years ago might of had the heart to take on Froch but if they fought now there would only be one winner and that is the cobra from Notts. JC has been put on his arse by old men in his last few fights and seems unable to knock anyone out - and the Froch fight is one that JC will just contimue to avoid....

It wasn't that long ago when he took Kessler to school.

I agree, change one letter in 'boxing' and it sums it up .... boring.

Sorry, never liked boxing, never will.... it's not the violence aspect of it, it's just the sheer tedium of it.

Sorry Johnny,I think you are wrong.Froch was easily outboxed & outpointed by Taylor.Calzaghe would be able to do the same thing, but Calzaghe can easily do the 12 rounds without tiring so I think Calzaghe would beat Froch.
As for Calzaghe avoiding Froch, thats nonsense.Calzaghe is not ducking any particular fighters,he has retired from boxing. It doesnt matter who a champion fights,or when he retires, there will always be somebody shouting "I could beat him hes scared of me".
I cant see what Froch is trying to achieve by calling for Calzaghe,he should be aiming for the other title holders & trying to become undisputed.

Montpoolier, youre dead right, the referee got it spot on.Taylor wasnt defending himself so had to be stopped & I think Taylor himself agreed with the ref too.
