...Springfield that is. Now that's what I call music. Even Tom Jones is playing a blinder FFS.

They'd never get away with a format like that these days. Fixed cameras, fixed stage, no presenter, no loud meaningless noises between acts: Dusty comes on, sings three songs, presents Tom Jones who sings two songs, they sing a duet, then Dusty rounds off with two more songs. Job done. Bloody great.

Just seen part of the documentary on her in "Queens of British Pop" - I didn't even know that she was even BRITISH to be honest, I always thought she was American because she was influenced by the Motown music and seemed to sing in an American accent.

Also, I didn't know she was bisexual.

And arguably the two finest white soul singers ever on the same set.

Tom Jones is another one whose hit singles don't do him justice. Listen to him singing "Bama Lama Bama Loo", "Chills and Fever" or "You Got The Bucks" and you've got a totally different singer to the "Delilah" guy.

Plus, Dusty Springfield was Bi-Sexual. Oh yes. Perfect!

somehow if Tom was bisexual it just wouldn't have the same appeal..........
