Budtz 8 - I'm probably being unfairly conservative as I can't remember him putting a foot (or hand) wrong. He had bugger all to do most of the match. Can't really fault him for their goal.
Liddle 5 - he might have got 7 if he'd changed his studs
Nelson 7 - slightly better than Collins, some nice work on the wing
Collins 6 - for some reason I can't quite put a finger on how our centre backs performed
Skarz 8 - Solid. Just once he tried to be too clever. Don't count on our signing this lad - Huddersfield want him for themselves.
Sweeney 5 - not one of his better days
Clark 6 - put some honest work in and wasn't THAT bad, but he's clearly not meant for that position
Jones 7 - put himself about well
Monkhouse 6 - tried to play too intelligently
Porter 6 - I'd have loved to give him more but he just wasn't getting any change from their defence
Nardiello 8 - would have got 9 or even 10 if he'd lasted more than 60 minutes; kept taking on the whole Leeds defence and winning.
Mackay - never touched the ball once in his cameo appearance; whether he should have or not is a different matter

Referee 1 for adding injury time to the injury time correctly

I agree with those ratings apart from maybe budtz who did not really do enough to warrant an 8.

Porter had a poor game which was a real pity.

Consider the 8 a belated reflection on ALB if you like. I think that's actually the first time I've seen Budtz play.
He looked like he knew what he was doing and acquitted himself well in one or two dodgy situations. He caught the only cross he was called on to catch. His kicking was pretty much faultless in fairly windy conditions. So he gets 8 because there's very little I could knock him for. But he was hardly what you'd call extended.

Didn't he just judge their free kick beautifully when it was going to hit the woodwork (most keepers would have wasted their time saving it. ).
