Stays as it is, Cheltenham would be relegated due to the fact that they could draw level with Northampton on 46 points but they have a much more inferior goal difference.

Just seen one of Stockport's goals on Sky Sports News - what a great goal, dinked into the top right hand corner.

they are down if they lose tonight. They've got Leicester at home next week.

I didn't realise Elding was playing for Crewe now. There's an underachiever if ever there was one, not that he's been given many games to prove otherwise.

Leicester are losing against Scunthorpe at home, though. May not be as straightforward as it looks.

At the moment, this looks like this could end tomorrow.

You bet I am. The results go our way tomorrow, we could book our place in League One next season.

Even a last minute equaliser wont help them they still be 3 points behind(if we lose tomorrow) and we 11 goals better, so puts them below us at end of season in my opinion.

Indeed it will. My comment was purely entertainment-oriented.

Carlisle away to Cheltenham tomorrow.

Cheltenham have to win to have any chance of staying up. So that won't be easy for Carlisle, they would been better off playing someone with nothing to play for.

I have a feeling that we will be safe by 5 pm tomorrow. I didn't actually think Stockport would get anything tonight - I thought that result would go against us and Cheltenham wouldn't get beat by Carlisle. Hopefully that result will still go as planned!!!!

Not necessarily.

Say we lost last two games 2-0 and 3-0 our goal difference becomes -14, Carlisle's is currently -15, a 2-0 home win required. Thats not winning by a boatload.

But I agree with Chip and have believed for while that 50 points would be enough this season.

Chip, I really hope you are right, but until we are mathematically safe I still believe anything bad can happen to Pools.

If we are safe by 5pm on Saturday there's a £10 note with your name on it to collect from me.

Why is everyone focused on Carlisle?
Yokel will lose both their remaining games and it's job done.
Easy, see?
That win last week may be more immense than anyone could have imagined.

BTW Chip, we have no chance whatsoever of getting more than a point tomorrow. I'll let you figure out why (although I am open to bribes like).

Worked that out easily enough.

You posted it at 138am on Saturday morning, so by tomorrow(as you put it) it will be Sunday , we dont have a game. It would have been played TODAY.
