Anyone see that show last night about place for paedophiles was really shocking

I started to watch it Compo but it turned my stomach and i flipped channels.

Watched it this afternoon....very sick people who I think would benefit with a bullet in the head!!!! :evil:

But one thing got me about the programme....in a couple of scenes I spotted a few women 'prisoners' but they never got interviewed....I would have thought it would be one of things Louis would jump on and I would have found interesting aswell on why they done it etc!!!! confised

Plus in some of the scenes it looked as though the cameras were positioned to keep the women out of the picture!!!! confised

Yeah I noticed that as well, i have to say louis theroux is easily one of the best journalists around making documentaries, his manner of appearing to be an bungling geeky idiot allows the people to become sort of close to him so they open up, the best one I have seen with him is the one were he goes to live with the Nazi's.

Anyway getting back to the programme I couldn’t believe how matter of fact some of them were when admitting to their crimes, that guy who had a voluntary castration (which I all think they should get) was wondering why he has been turned down 1000 times for a house.

I believe in rehabilitation but I am sorry people with urges like that and who act on them should never be allowed back into society (i am talking about people who actively seek out young children etc not people who have sex with their girlfriend at 16 when she is 15)

It is highly unlikely that a paedophile will be able to change their behaviour.

The duty of the justice system is to protect the innocent, so I agree that they should be kept locked up like in the American 'hospital'. However, they should be made to work to contribute to their keep. A lot of them are highly intelligent, and could perform all kind of useful roles without getting anywhere near children.
