Budtz-8- Another confident display. Never really troubled. Looks like he was poorly sighted for the second.

Liddle-8- Compare that performance to his performance against Southend and you'll see an absolute huge improvement. Linked up well with Jonesy at times. Solid game.

Nelson-12- Last week I said Collins put in a performance that said thanks to the fans for their support following the pre match encouragement he got. For me Nelsons performance was 'really sorry about my fck up last week, I'm going to make amends here and if any tw@t gets in my way I'll snap them in half'. From the very first minute he was awesome, winning every tackle and dribbling the ball out of the defence. He put in one crucial block when we had left ourselves exposed in the first half and their lad was through. A truly great performance. More of the same and we will have the old Nelse back.

Collins-8- Not as good as Nelson but solid in everything he did.

Skarz-8-Like the look of the lad. I think I'd keep him.

Monky-8- Setup 2 goals, a good performance from Monky.

Jonesy-8-Doesn't see as much of the ball as I'd like him too but was well up for it against his former team. I thought it was his best game in the last few weeks.

Clark and Sweeney-7.5- A bit slow to react at times and sometimes they got easily exposed but they put in a good shift and closed everything down well. Clarky was wrecked by the end, probably because he covered every blade of grass.

Nardiello-9-Excellent. I really hope the lad stays next season, I have rated him really highly since his debut against Brighton and I've thought he has done the business ever since. He got the penalty for the first, held the ball up really well for the second for Monkey to cross and then got the winner. He was working his tits off in the last half hour when Joel was wrecked (Parker wouldn't have been able to have done that) and held the ball up so well in the corner for the last few minutes. There was a discussion on here during the week about one strength of a forward is the ability to not put the defence under pressure and Nardiello did exactly that. If it hadn't been for some poor defending on Monday this lad would have picked us up 4 points and it goes to show the strength of his signing compared to other little sh*thouse who didn't get a game yesterday.

Porter-8-A superbly taken penalty and a tidy header. If he hadn't been kicked all over the pitch for the first hour he probably would have got a hat-trick when he got put through (from an absolutely beautiful 50 yard pass from Monkhouse it must be said) and tried to lob the keeper. The ref wants shooting for not giving him greater protection. Surprised he didn't get subbed earlier. I love him.

Mackay-7- Pleased he came on instead of Parker as he has the ability to push defences back with his pace by getting behind them and will have been a huge contribution to why we had all the possession for the final ten.

Humphreys-7-Again pleased he came on as we needed someone to do Clarky's job and keep the players motivated for the final few minutes. He hardly touched the ball but was still over to the supporters and still over the moon we got the 3 points.

Turner-8- Well done CT. I like you a bit more than I did this time yesterday.

Fans-17-Quality. Best away game of the season and we more than played our part in keeping the players going yesterday.

My faith has been restored in HUFC. Another point next week and we can relax

Well if he moves as fast as he does at 5 a side the lino was in no danger of him catching him. rolfl

It would appear poolie1974 doesn't think Richie deserved a 7 for the 11 minutes he was on the pitch yesterday (no mention of the fact I gave Mackay a 7 for his 9 minute cameo).

Fair do's he's entitled to his opinion but I thought Richie did a job when he came on in an area where we did look overly strong in for most of the match. We needed someone to come on and keep things ticking over and he put in some good blocks too. If a player only comes on for a few minutes are you only allowed to give them a poor mark?!

I think he posts on here too, so far he has criticised us for getting a hire car to the match and now nitpicked my report in the most feeble of ways. Why do people bother?

Far be it from me to critisise your ratings, as I wasnt there, , but, it just seems a bit odd, that even though
Yeovil have only scored 38 league goals all season, less than 1 a game, we still managed to concede 2, more than 200% more than their average goals per game. Yet you gave our keeper and back four an average rating of 8.8.

But who cares?

I have seen the goals. You couldnt tell what happened with the second.

But like I said, who cares. I just want the season to end with us in league one.

Then the public slaughtering of our underperforming players can begin. And the night of the long knives can begin.

Poolie1974 has a similar irrational hatred of Ritchie Humphreys to Mr I. If you combined both of their thoughts into one mind and introduced the subject 'Ritchie Humphreys' to it, it would actually explode

pj, i don't hate Humphreys, far from it. He's gave that 100% commitment to the club that we keep hearing about. Unfortunately it didn't stop us from one and nearly two relegations from League One as well as the fact that i think he's the worst footballer at the club.

Is it ok if i think that or do i have to run my opinions past you and a couple of others on here before they are fit for the written word?

If you like, next time, i'll send you a pm if i have an opinion before i actually put it on a messageboard. See what you make of it and if it's ok i'll put it on?

BTW, have a look at your avatar and your own ramblings on HARTLEPOOL UNITED players before you have the fooking cheek to be sarcastically meaningful about other peoples opinions.

Talk about touching a nerve, bloody hell I wouldn't care but I was only joking (as the smiley suggests). Everything you say on the message boards about Humphreys (like Mr I) is negative, I'm not stopping you having that opinion as it's yours, but are you telling me I'm not allowed to joke about it?

I tell you what next time I want to tell a joke about you having the same opinion of Ritchie Humphreys over and over again I'll PM to see what you make of the gag so you can OK it before I put it on.

The we'll all be OK  (<<<Look I'm still joking).
