Even more negative than Tree with hamsters opinion

Although I agree with most of what you say.

i think kyle will bring the best out of liddle
the prob that liddle has is dropping back to prevent nelson kicking it to no fooker
and it leaves us exposed
alb - decent game besides serious blooper
mccunnie - taxi please
humphreys - getting troubled by bad players now
nelson - cut you fookin hair - youve been struggling since you grew it
collins - covering for nelson
liddle - better than this, but not at the moment
jones - difficult for him against hard opposition
mnkhouse - couldnt work out his position
brown - see above
kyle - loan will have to be long term to justify changing the format around
porter - a fit porter = goals and effort - simple
wilson - get the above mentioned that taxi and see if ben clark will play left back, chave nelsons hair and teach him how to pass and think about the formation a bit more please.

I still stand by what I said a few months ago that Budtz is better than ALB.

Liddle isn't at all effective in midfield - what has happened to him? He's a fit lad, tall, athletic, but he just can't perform in the centre of the park. I don't care what Jonny thinks, Sweeney is the best midfielder at the club for getting into goalscoring positions and actually sticking the ball in the onion bag. Liddle is capable of only scoring about three goals max this season.Sweeney always looks like he could get 10 or 12. Big, big difference.
Liddle should be tried at full back as of the next game, and Pools should work on it in training this week

if we aren't going to sign anyone then it is time that Jan Budtz or the other other keeper were given a chance..... ALB is hopeless......

If that is true we really are in deep shite.

If Budtz is in goal for the next home game I'm staying home and saving my money.

You may be right Ripper, but I would have been disappointed if even Budtz had let that second goal in.

ALB isnt good enough, even though he is miles better than Butdz.

I question your football knowledge if you think ALB is any better than average.

At the moment it is either or.

And Budtz shouldn't even get a game on the Rec never mind at Pools.

Maybe Wilson should get himself down the park and find the goalkeeper tree.

Although judging by the fact that it was him who signed Budtz then maybe he'd be better down the jobcentre.

To sign one bad keeper is careless, to sign two is a sackable offence in its own right. Unless of course Wilson didn't get the choice in the matter - in which case Turner should be booted out immediately and any future director of sport should stick to swanning around and smiling at guests in the executive boxes, and keep the f-uck out of the football side of it.

It would not surprise me if tubby turner signed them. his record of signing goalkeepers is abysmal, very surprising considering he used to be one. Mind, given the size of CT right now, perhaps he should come out of retirement and he would do a good job for us in goal!

Are you lot for real? ALB made 3 or 4 quality saves on friday night and kept the score down OK the second goal was a blooper, but questions need to start in midfield, where the lad picked the ball up from. Then you have to ask the two central defenders why they allowed the lad to get that close to the box. I still think ALB was slightly unsighted but agree he should have done 500% better.

ALB has been one of our most consistant players this season, and is improving the more games he plays in. He IS the best keeper we have at the club so accept it. If he does have the odd lapse of concentration it no wonder with people slating him all the time.

I think should ALB have a decent defence in front of him (Full backs who can defend, and centre halfs who have a little bit of speed and dont look like they are towing a caravan) then that too might install a little confidence in ALB and remove teh odd error he does make.

Seen as George Wood worked with ALB at Cardiff I'd safely say he had a big hand in signing him. As for cockfingers God knows who recommended him, whoever it was they should be sectioned.

loyal blue, yes he did make a couple of very good saves but that's his job to make saves he's a goalkeeper. He also made an absolutely elementary mistake, he concedes far too many soft goals which he should be saving. Just because he's the best we have it doesn't mean he's good enough.

yes ok ALB is paid for making saves. the same as Nelse, Humps, McCnut and Collins are paid to defend which was also non existant on friday night so does that mean they also need demoting? if that is the case then we dont have a team worthy of playing. the full 5 defenders (GK included) were awful on friday night, but when ALB makes three or 4 quality saves I dont believe he deserves the grief he is getting, and the majority of it should be pointed at the other 4 waste of spaces!!!!!

Anyone who thinks that Budtz should play for pools again is an idiot, we would be certainties for relegation if he was to be pools first choice keeper, FFS we might as well make foley first choice centre forward and be done with it.

ALB is not the greatest but he is the best we have, and will get better.

Like everyone one here alreay knows its the 4 clowns in front of him that are letting the others down, nelson is a shadow of his former self and we should have cashed in on him in the summer, and collins needs benching as his defending since the peterboro game has been shambolic. And two new fullbacks is a must.

I've seen the back four rightfully getting loads of the stick, I said myself that any of them could be dropped without having a case to moan.

He hasn't got 'the grief he is getting' most have stated that he has shown improvement but it is obvious that errors as glaring as the second goal on Friday are going to get pointed out.

Are you still saying that either of them are any good?

Neither of them are good enough.

Lee-Barrett won't make a string of blinding saves but doesn't drop clangers like Budtz does.

Budtz will lull you with a rake of outstanding saves but drop at least one total bollock each match which you have to be real lucky for it not to cost a goal. Quite often more than one (like yesterday).

One of the most entertaining aspects of yesterday's shitefest was playing the Danish Lottery every time they had a corner or free kick near our box, the jist of the game being to take a bet on whether it would be punch, fumble, catch, flap, rooted to line, miss it completely etc. If he plays against Leeds try having a game of it.
