keeping ALB out

When Turner says

"The goalkeeper gets the criticism for it all but there's a different goalkeeper in there on Saturday (Jan Budtz) and he's let two goals in.

"It's not the goalkeeper - it's what's in front of him doing the job."

reading between the lines it sounds like a quick return for Lee-Barratt

Also, the back four have been hammered all season. Is he trying to suggest that nnobody has crticised Humphreys, Collins or Nelson stpid

Honestly some of the comments Turner has come out with lately have completely baffled me, just read this corker in the Mail tonight for example;

"Going forward and creating chances we are probably a top eight side, especially at home"

"But at the other end of the field we are where we are. That's the problem"

"But what can you do about it at this late stage of the season"

YOU HAVE BEEN MANAGER SINCE DECEMBER, CHRIS!!!

In that time he has signed six players, five have been forwards, one has been a defender (who has hasn't started). Yet now you are complaining that you can't do anything about the defence!!!?

Turner is rapidly losing his reputation.

I really dont see how he can go back upstairs after this.

The bloke is a grade A

The sooner we get rid of him the better. Season ticket sales will be very low next season if we still have this clown in charge

how can you possibly read between the lines and come up with that?

Turner basically states that the defense are fucking rubbish, and thats it.....

I didn't read that. He is getting worse.

He quite happily admitted that he has seen every minute of Pools this season. You would think, given that, he would know where we needed strengthening most. If he was a new manager taking us over from new I wouldn't mind as much (I'd still be frustrated though)

I am pleased he signed some forwards as we were struggling with Joel injured (think Oldham when we had Mackay and Foley which was mid January) but to completely ignore the defence will baffle me forever. It's sheer lunacy and it's why I don't want the guy at the helm next season, I have lost all faith in him.

When he took over 10 years ago the first thing he did was bring Strodder in, what a shame he didn't bring in someone of similar ilk this time. He's been in charge 3 and a half month and been able to bring players in for most of that and then he says '"But what can you do about it at this late stage of the season"'. Fcking ell.

banghead

Staggered.

Well if ALB is back in the saide on saturday, I am definitely going to think carefully about what I do next season. If Turner remains in charge then I have no doubt that Barrett will be first choice keeper.

If he is, then I am resigning as a full time Poolie. I am not paying to watch shite like that play. There are better keepers on the bastad rec.
