Hear the Echo was the first National horse I've backed (20/1) that's actually managed to complete most of the course and it was in a good position to mount a challenge to the leader, it always had a chance. Then suddenly it faded away.

I use the past tense now because I've learnt now that some time after Fence 26 it collapsed and died. sadx

Frustrating - That's the National for you.

Dave Nobby, what an unusual name!

Come on old man of the sea

Who won then, was it the actor Christopher Timothy, the cleaner or the Krankies?

Thank God that mystery has been cleared up!

I was starting to think we would need to call in Scooby Doo and his pals to sort it out

Not a big fan of horse racing .Watched the re-run on the news ... fine beasts ,don't like the way they are pushed and whipped to the finish .. confised
