They were awesome in that game against Scarborough. On saying that, they had a brilliant football brain feeding them the ball.

We dont have a player of the calibre of Peter Beardsley now.

He didnt have the legs, but it was his through ball that got us going that day. I seem to remember.

Still, what a waste of talent Gary Jones became. I thought he was a tremendous player, but just lost his way.

i actually like garry jones, he did well. as that lad just said, not enough goals for us. has was a machine for notts county, or seemed to be.

One of the first things I think about when I hear people mention Gary Jones is when away at Halifax I think, the ref asked him to remove his blue cycling shorts. :roll:
