I'm off to see this bloke and his band of strolling minstrels.

Hope they do "Hit the North" but owing to Mark E's recent injury it's more likely to be "(Broken) Hip Priest".

Mark E did the whole gig in a wheelchair owing to his broken hip. Only the front row got to see him clearly as it was a standing only venue (not for Mark E obviously :uhoh: )
Sounded good after a slow start and then found their form. Not one of the best Fall line ups but competent. Despite the injury he sounded good and wheeled himself around the stage & did an inimitable keyboard break. The numbers were recent / new.

All a bit like HUFC really - their star man was injured, surrounded by journeymen and those that have been reserves for the band in the past, started poorly but eventually got going.

Should avoid relegation on this form

Many thanks for the link MJ. SO it's a bit like on here when Pools have played - everyone sees / hears things differently. Don't understand one of the comments that the encore was a tape they didn't do an encore.
Didn't see MES adjusting the bass amp but did see him adjusting the guitarists amp. The new unit that Eleanor has is a Korg Kaos Pad or Kaossilator - they're great 'toys'.

Well now I didn't know the Fall 'cos they never made it to France. But I've read enough on here to prompt me to have a listen.

Here's my opinion: they're a bit like Talking Heads but at least the latter throw in a melody from time to time.

Hated them, sorry.
