Now here's the betting

1/4 FA deem it frivolous and extend the suspension

3/1 FA back the referee but dont extend the suspension

100/1 Pools' win the appeal

Knowing our luck, on this occasion we'll actually win the appeal.

This after Radio Borer carried an interview with Turner at 8.30 this morning stating that we wouldn't be bothering.

You misunderstand Bob, I'm not doubting the info, it's on the official site. Just a comment on how things change.

According to the FA site he's suspended for two games. I don't know if thats one for the sending off and one for a frivolous appeal http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary ... Lists.aspx

It will probably be one for the red card and the other for it being his second ban of the season

If he dived at the ground he'd miss it.

I have now become exasperated with regards to refereeing of 'Pools games from both this season and last season.

We were lucky it didn't come back as frivolus appeal, but the FA don't maker it any easier by not realising that sending off on Friday was completely and utterly unwarranted.
