For the record though..........werent we in trouble this time last year as well? Then a few wins rescued the situation?

And I dont recall anyone then decrying midtable mediocrity.

Still I am sure Mr Hindsight knows best.

As far as I remember last season we were unanimous in moaning about the self same thing we are moaning about this season - our total inability to defend for 90 minutes.

The end of season position is what I guess you'd call collateral damage. Mid table is put-up-withable. 21st isn't. But we're not there yet. The miracle fairy might still come along.
