Right here goes,I've had some sleep ,so report little lster than usual.

The referee has made some atrocious decisions and is the most blatant homer I have seen for years. Sending Barrett off as early as he did has made life hard for us,and I didnt think it warranted a red card.

But lets get this right we cant blame the referee for poor defending again. For the second game running we have scored 2 goals and come away pointless. It is becoming to regular ,individuals making mistakes and us being punished.

Many on here , including me , have called for Liddle to play in the defence, well he is to blame for at least two of thegoals last night, on that performance then he is not a defender and to be honest, if we didnt renew his contract, at this moment in time that wouldnt bother me. Since he joined he has gone backwards, there may be good reason for that, poor coaching from this and previous coaches, or he has lost interest in this team.

Porter has had a good game, and in the second half we deserved something from it, with Southend being the team looking to time waste and hang on in the end.

Humphries has been subbed, yet he was by no means the worst defender on the pitch and Collins should have been subbed. He looked as if he was injured, carrying a knock or just totally useless. Clark could have dropped back into defence and Nardiello still brought on. Having said that Nardiello has been lucky to stay on with a crunching tackle from behind ,resulting in a bit of a free for all as players went for each other.

The team showed fight with 10 men and on the second half perfomance could well have got a point. With what looked like a blatant handball in the box not given late on, it may well have been unintentional but it allowed control and the defender to clear.

But, it's as they say when your near the bottom and fighting relegation nothing goes your way. I do think the substitution of Jones left a lot to be desired. especially with the way Collins seemed to be and for that reason I would say Turner is about as effective as the previous incumbent when it comes to changing a game. We're not down but we're now in a big fight, lets home the results go our way today.

Opposite end of the pitch, but as Liddle was beat, Budtz saved then their player got to ball seemed to beat Liddle again before scored it would in my opinion have been a good goal
