I can't open spreadsheets!!!! banghead

Mine has opened but it wont let me type any answers in confised

When I bought my laptop it had Microsoft Office 2007 built in, but any time that I open one of the applications it asks for the 25 digit product code yet I don't have it or know where to find it, will this be the reason why it won't let me type on it, and also where i can find the numbers for the code
