instead we have radiotherapy to slow down the cancer and prolong the life....

When someone close to you has died of cancer you'll realise how it is possible to delay their death.

There is only so much radiotherapy and chemotherapy can do though. Only issue with it is one is a poison and the other can cause secondary cancer. its a bit grim.

we talk about her work all the time (an hour or so from 5pm till 6pm usually), very interesting the characters that come through. She got a bar of chocolate off this old guy last week, little did she know it was out of date by 9 years!!!! Quality! (we didnt eat it)

As i said, she deals with cancer everyday, so i know its no laughing matter. However Jane Goodie doesnt get sympathy from me im afraid. i'd say well done to her for the fact she is putting her kids in private school. but im sure she had enough money to do that without selling her soul to OK! magazine. £4m is the reported amout she left them, so that £700,000 from OK! she didnt need isnt it? Seen as though she had £3.£m in the bank already...... Just a thought.

Well said that man, why didnt she donate the £700k for ok to the charity (she might as well have we dont know) £3.3million to her kids is enough and good on her to do that just I feel people forget to help out charities that help their family (in some cases) 700k to the macmillan / marie curie is a lot to them. The nurses at any hospice or who do palitive care (like my mam) are godsends and dont know how they do that job.
