What is the best game you have officiated and why?

4th Official for the Carling Cup Final Liverpool v Chelsea and Refereeing the Division One Play-off Final Sheffield Wednesday v Hartlepool United. The reason for these choices is that I was entrusted by the PGMOL to have the attributes, man management skills and ability to cope with the various demands placed upon an official for such prestigious games.

I remember his first game in charge of us after the play off final, it was away at Peterborough I think and as soon as he blew the whistle for kick off the whole end behind the goal started to chant 'the referees a wanker' was fairly funny at the time
