Parmo, myself & one other are heading to Southend in the Groovymobile next week & staying overnight in the travelodge.
Are there any others doing an overnight interested in getting a minibus together ?

Quite possibly. Think there is 6 of us planning on getting a people carrier but if we can sort a cheap enough minibus then it could be an option.

We're also in the travelodge.

Had a couple of quotes.
Transmore in Stockton have just quoted me £140 to pick it up Friday & return it Saturday evening (I guess thats about £30 each including fuel).
Cost will be reduced if anyone else wants to join us as its all 15 seat minibuses.
Ill drive there on friday. If anyone wants to drive home Saturday theyre welcome to,if not Ill drive both ways.

I hate to say this but that's me finished with going to Pools for the season.
There are no more fixtures near enough for me to consider travelling to; and the Vic takes two hours to get to and the trip costs me forty quid just for petrol, parking, and match entry. The game at Stockport cost me much more than that since I got a parking fine thrown in for good luck.

And I have no one to share the driving, so I have to stump my insatiable thirst so as not to die on the road on the way home.

So fook it.

I haven't seen Pools win since Boxing Day 2004 so call me back when we have a team that I don't assuming is going to lose before a ball is kicked. Even when Billy Horner was manager I always believed we had a chance in every game we played.

Now players, it's up to you make me eat my hat for missing eight belting games.

Well Monty you're one stay away I can put up with... Enjoy the England V Scotland game on Saturday (hopefully another rout of the Laurence's pals) and hopefully you're absence will have the required effect on Pools!!

I think any pools fans travelling THAT far and spending THAT amount of money, to watch pools at the moment, needs to be sectioned under the Mental Health act. stpid

I should be there with trusty Monkey Business stalwart Wallace & Gromit. As I'm a social worker & he works for the health service we will 'on-call' if anyone wants sectioning.
