Well Having read the threads and been at the match today I can only concur with Mr I and Grave.

Ok I dont want us to get relegated but as my last post stated (Walsall away) we were candidates for relegation back then. Most people seem to have the rose tinted glasses on even then.

This team is just not good enough and the rebuilding process should have started 2 seasons ago. No football team can play a whole season with a static 11 players. Injury, suspension and sickness will play a major part. The CLUB have FAILED to address the problems. Wilson may have been manager but CT was always seen shaking the hands of new arrivals, Hodcroft stated the fringe players must remain because better players were not available. JOKE!! We have no depth due to poor signing or players signed up when they would be better playing non league.

Boland, Porter, Butiz, Foley, Mackay, Humphreys, Mccunnie, Collins, Power should all be shown the door. WHAT ! Porter I hear you cry. Joel Porter is a great player when 2 years younger and fit. His contribution to the team was his ability to hold the ball up, pull the defenders out and leave a traditional centre forward room, his goal scoring was never prolific. He has lost pace and his touch this year has been shocking. The rest are poor excuses of a professional footballer excluding Boland who would have lost all his pay by now if he worked anywhere else!

Mr I has hit the nail on the head. This team needs a total rebuild. Can we attract 9 new players, 11 if Nelson/Monkhouse go on expiry of contracts. The simple answer is NO F**king chance. We will be in the same position next year and perhaps the year after.

Hodcroft held his hands up last time and should hold his hands up again and say " We have got it wrong". I know times are tough but CT and all the loan signings have proved utterley useless in improving our form.

A PIG WITH LIPSTICK IS STILL A PIG!!!!

I believe we will not get relegated due to 4 poorer teams in the league below us. Its going to be close though.

Another Whisky to drown my sorrows I feel.

today's performance shows exactly why we have struggled on the road for two years now.
The players have a "beaten" mindset for me away form home.
I can't believe good players like Monkhouse and Porter can be so poor as they were today, and away from home it happens all the time
Admittedly one burst through the middle from Porter produced the disallowed goal but not much else went right for him, and he seemed to be going through the motions today for some reason.
Very few of that side should expect to be picked for the next match - this was an opportunity to get right away from the bottom four but collectively (and I include Turner and West in this) they were all gutless - and simply waiting for Cheltenham to gift us something.
How many years do they have to be in football before they realise this will simply never happen?
They saw through Pools for the unprofessional attitude we displayed and worked hard for their win.
The shameful thing is, they probably won't even get another win this season, and neither will Pools playing like that.
I really wouldn't know where to start with kicking their arses after today - it was an utter shambles.

Did I actually just read that?

Has this bloke been in a coma for the last two seasons?

Should thank porter for what he has given us over the years when he is not 100% blame the club for playing him.

His first touch is probably his biggest strength, he pulled one ball out of the sky against West Ham in a way I've never seen a Pools player do. To pull Joel up on his touch is like calling Beyonce a minger.

But its still a fact that Porter is foookin shite away. One away goal all season suggests he is a bottler.

I love Joel, but unless people like him step up to the plate away we will always struggle. And he doesnt score.....again

PJ and Chip Yes you did read that. My Post did not call Porter S**T or slate his past achievements. His current form is erratic and I would release Porter at the end of the season.

We have to play Porter when injuryed becuase the rest are so poor! Maybe its not his fault but I stand by the comments he is not the player he was 2 seasons ago, 18 goals or not. Like to or not he will not last another season with his knees/ankles/hamstring. Another Boland !

I will own up and say that I do not attend many home games due to distance and job therefore my view is slightly biased towards away performances. All the players are accountable. If will all said to are boss "well actually I work Mon Wed Fri this week, but still want to be paid a full week". We would be told to F**K off.

out of our last 42 away games in the league we have lost 27
A shocking statistic - and to the "up-for-it-" brigade in the team, here is my challenge.
Avoid defeat in the last four away games if you can.
I say Pools will lose them all

So by the same token, Monkhouse should be out the door before him.

With due respect that is total bollocks, he's missed in the last two seasons less than ten games through injury. In that time he's scored 34 times which probably equates to his best form in a Pools shirt. Two seasons ago was when he was actually struggling through injury. He had two injured ruined years.

Without him we'd have probably went down last season, never mind this year.
