HELP NEEDED

DO NOT FOOKIN MOAN AT ME.

I am making a simlpe request for assistance with my current projects.

What I would like help with is if anyone knows of the whereabouts of any former players, has any rare/old photos, useful - even if they seem useless - bits of info re players - particularly what they did for a living after they stopped playing for Pools.

Work on the history is laborious but getting there and notes are written and just need typing up to get so far through.

A-Z is just immense. at moment 37Meg of 139 pages of size 8 font A4 - 135000 words, 900 players (so far - all 1st teamers including those who played on trial in friendlies and those in all league and cup games (including the Durham Senior Cup) and 550 photos - up to now.

So if you know anything about anyone that isnt generally known or you know someone who knows someone who is/was related to someone (ie FENSY - any joy yet??) then please get them to get in touch with me

CHIP FB - you must come up against some deadwood when you play

and ECG - you know a couple of people that you said a while back you'd sort Edwards and someone else..

Sorry no joy yet. I can't seem to get hold of any photos from his playing career or owt like that. I will keep digging though my Grandma said one of her nephews or cousins might have some stuff but he lives abroad somewhere and she has trouble getting in touch with him.
