Not really Dibbs.

She is reigning European and World champion in her 'sport' and is only the 3rd person to hold the two titles at the same time,she also helped the GB team to a silver medal in the team world championships. But still I would have voted for Joe Calzaghe.

I still think it should be called Sports Achievement of the Year.

The ping pong guy was supposedly one of the best players in the world at 16, now I'm not a fan of table tennis but surely he had done a bit more than Theo....?

The BBC SPOTY event gone well down hill in the last 10 years or so - it used to be quite good. The BBC seem to fuck everything up, even the FA cup draw, and why do rugby players do th fa cup draw now?
