The highlight of his career is refereeing a conference play off semi final 2nd leg.

He let the game flow il give him that but him and his baldy linesman were an utter disgrace.

Listening to the match on PoolsWorld Mark Simpson said that when he arrived at the ground Russ Green had a chat with him and said something along the lines "At least its not as windy as it was on Tuesday" to which the ref replied "It must have been strong on Tuesday cos I've seen the video and it blew over your centre forwrad for the penalty". Seems like he'd decided before he came that he would give Pools nowt.

Passed the Posh team bus on the way home last night. This was on the A689 near Sedgefiled. Wonder why they didn't just head down the A 19? Perhaps they were lost or perhaps it was because they were giving the ref (who came from Newcastle) a lift home??
