Or a shit game and win .... I'd settle for the shit game because its the result that counts not how you achieve it

the last 3 matches have proabably been some of the poorest to watch for a while but we have picked up 7 points out of 9. we are becoming hard to beat and are grinding out results all of a sudden, i would prefer to do that than watch the shite Wilson was giving us earlier in the season

we've toughened up definitely, and although a lot of the flair has gone, we need the points

Agreed re Ritchie, its sad to see but he is completely finished. The way shuker turned him was embarrassing. shuker had sprinted 20 yeards past him before Ritchie even saw him.

It was an awful game but the 3 points are vital!! especially given the fact we have a lot of away games coming up

You're expecting a great game in shite weather. You won't often get that.

I find it unbelievable that Mr Head is the first to mention the utterly shocking conditions. That wind (and it was a swirling wind) was terrible and made football almost impossible.

True an awful game but how you can single out any players for criticism or praise after watching that is beyond me, the conditions won but so did we which is all that is important. The level of criticism towards Humphreys is disgusting, one or two want to have a look at themselves, how the fook can you single him out after watching that?

But Humphreys also did the same to Shuker, he turned him on the halfway line, Shuker than tried to pull him back by putting his arms around waist, this was easily shrugged off, Shuker went back for some more then just bounced off him when he tried to shoulder charge Humpreys off the ball.

In a game totally spoiled by the wind nobody really stood out but at the same time you can say that nobody really had a poor game

utter fucking bollox the lot of you

last night was a bad game because of the weather

from a true experienced pro who has provided crucial to the club in the past you would have expected a lot more from him.

left back is no the place to be when you're making mistake after mistake. An old wise head who will have played countless games in conditions like that should know how to play, at times his distribution was worse then ALBs and Nelson's. That puts it into perspective.

We got three points, yes, but that doesn't stop me from analysing it. It's like saying that the car's fucked and has a flat tyre but we still made the journey. It's going to need changing soon.

This is one of the most blinkered comments I have ever read on here. Disgusting - my arse. The left back position is a weak link at this club and always has been and we're making do. There's no doubt he's a fit lad who has the club in his heart but he's not the answer. And everybody on here knows this and needs to have a fooking good look at themselves. rename the board the RHAS - you're welcome to it. fook sake.

Don't change a winning team...

Who goes in for Humps? Lidds? then that means splitting the midfield and then asking Liddle to learn the Left back position all over again.. Humps is trying his best but it doesnt seem good enough for some. Humps did some good and bad things but overall we got the 3 points that's all that should matter.. Wait until Summer and then we see what happens with Humps

the thing is people are criticising Ritchie because he isn't very good at left-back. THATS NOT HIS FAULT. he doesn't ask to play there, and when HE is ASKED to play there, he gives his all, blame management or a lack of competition, blame anybody, but DO NOT blame a striker/left-winger who is asked to do a job at left back. For me its blatantly NOT his position, yet he still doesnt do too badly 85% of the time.

get of the guys back and get on the managements instead

Im not blaming him for his performances at left back. Im simply saying he is too slow and his distribution is appaling! He is not good enough full stop no matter where he plays

One of the worst posts I have ever read, and sums up that some of you will blame Humphreys for everything.

He got skinned once, and sliced an awful pass from Ben Clark into the crowd.

That apart he was no better or worse than anyone else.

The other 21 players made lousy mistakes as well.

But I suppose the conditions were to blame for those. stpid

An awful match, shocking conditions, but a great great win.

Shit foook awful thread though.

sorry but thats rubbish, the couple of times he finds himself in an attacking position he does well, he would still perform well in midfield

How ridiculous. Over the last few weeks I've suggested he needs leaving out of the team especially away from home as he has struggled at times, but to single him out after last is disgusting. He got turned once by Shuker all night, and Chris Shuker isn't a bad player, but what did he do to hurt us?

We need two specialist full backs in my opinion, like we need a keeper in my opinion, but I'm not going to stick a knife in the lads currently playing in those positions for no good reason. It's what we have so lets get behind them. To single someone out on a night were everyone made a couple of mistakes due to some of the worst conditions I've seen at the Vic is out of order.
